Immanuel Christian School will usually follow Fairfax County decisions for closings and delays related to weather or road conditions. Exceptions to Fairfax County decisions will occur when county conditions do not apply to Immanuel Christian School. For example, we will not close due to heating or air conditioning problems in county facilities, or due to vehicle problems in county bus transportation, or due to sidewalk conditions for neighborhood schools. Always confirm our decision by checking the ICS website Emergency Announcement at www.immanuelchristian.net , or by calling the ICS Information Line at 703 941-1220, or by signing up for E-Mail Notification.

*Fairfax County usually makes mid-day closing decisions by 10:30 a.m. You can usually hear radio or TV announcements of early closings by 11:00 a.m. Early closings will first be posted on our website Emergency Announcement at www.immanuelchristian.net.

**Extending early dismissal days to 3:15 applies to delayed opening days. This will help us minimize the loss of instructional time due to weather.
